The Lost Crypt

Content production for escape room.

NOSY produced a range of video and photography assets for The Lost Crypt Escape Room on the Isle of Wight. The project was very exciting, as this is the UK's first escape room inside a real church crypt. It was also very rewarding, as all profits of the attraction go towards Aspire - a local charity.

The brief for this video was a balance between creating suspense and ambience. The client didn't want it to feel like a horror set, but rather intrigue the viewer with aspects of puzzles. The video was to be used to promote the escape room on their website, socials and the Isle of Wight ferries. Hence, we produced various versions of it to match required lengths and formats.

The photography was very important for successful promotional activity of the escape room. Playing with candle light and shadows, we produced a set of photos to match the sense of intrigue and suspense created by the video. Consistency across the assets was key.

Overall, the Lost Crypt project was a success. Our assets have been used for several months in marketing activity and we've received very positive feedback from stakeholders involved.

Nosy proved themselves to be a very professional and capable team, who enthusiastically answered our brief whilst contributing their own ideas to enhance the launch of The Lost Crypt at Aspire Ryde. They were great to work with and we felt hugely supported by their commitment, delivering brilliant photography and video assets in quite a short timescale, to help ensure we had a very successful launch.
