Enabling our team to give back to the community is a really important part of life at NOSY.

Our senior videographer, Laurence, is a big superhero and anime fan, so the Deadpool family fun day in Ryde, which raised over £2,000 for Breast Cancer Now, was the perfect event for him.
All our colleagues get two extra paid days annually for volunteer work and Laurence decided to use his to capture the day on camera.
He produced a series of films for the organisers to use for future publicity and marketing purposes, including a uniquely styled animation, inspired by Laurence’s love for anime culture.
The event's organiser, Rob Munt, was incredibly grateful to Laurence for supporting the event, citing his skill and personality as a great fit.
“Laurence is the most talented photographer and videographer I’ve ever had the pleasure to meet and work with over the many years doing events,” said Rob.

“He has blown us all away with his work. I can always rely on him to deliver in the most amazing way possible.
"He is highly professional, hard-working, confident and knows exactly what he wants.
“Laurence can walk into any situation and take charge, bringing out the absolute best in the people he’s working with and the environment they are in.
"We are so grateful to him for supporting us.”
Laurence is planning to continue supporting this event through his NOSY volunteering opportunities in the future.
“I met Rob at a comic book shop where he works and we just clicked straight away,” said Laurence.
“He's genuinely a nice guy and always eager to help others. When he told me last year that he was planning an event, I jumped on board without hesitation to help him.
“All the proceeds went to Breast Cancer Now, which is very close to my heart, as both of my parents have battled cancer in the past.
“We’ve raised so much money for the charity.

“Of course, none of this would have been possible without the help of my workplace, NOSY, which has been incredibly supportive of my involvement with this event.”
