NOSY finalists at the UK’s biggest business awards

We are proud to announce that NOSY is a finalist for The Social & Sustainable Impact Award at the 2026 Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards.

Awards

We are very happy to share some exciting news for our team. NOSY has been named a finalist for The Social & Sustainable Impact Award at the Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards 2026.

Widely recognised as the biggest business awards programme in the UK, the event celebrates the very best of British enterprise. To be shortlisted alongside some of the country’s most respected businesses is a proud moment for our team and a wonderful reflection of the way we choose to work.
"We believe that protecting the planet and looking after our people go hand in hand. This recognition belongs entirely to our team and we are incredibly proud to fly the flag for the Isle of Wight on a national stage."

Purpose over profit

We believed that protecting the planet and looking after our people had to go hand in hand with commercial stability. This shortlisting shows that purpose-driven business is not just an ideal but a resilient way to operate.
Growth for us is measured by the positive impact we can deliver. We have always been uncompromising in our ethics, intentionally focusing our efforts on building relationships with clients who genuinely share our values. This allows us to act as an enabler for our partners, helping them scale their own environmental and social impact.
We are also proud to have decoupled our financial growth from environmental harm. Over the last year we reduced our carbon emissions by over 20% while maintaining a 90% client retention rate. As members of 1% for the Planet we have donated over £12,000 to environmental causes to date.

Community and connection

Locally, we are continually looking for ways to rethink how businesses interact with the environment. That drive led to the launch of 'Rubbish Networking', an alternative to traditional corporate events engages professionals in litter-picking sessions. It allows local businesses to build new relationships, while collectively removing hundreds of kilograms of waste from our surroundings.
We also believe in championing the next generation, partnering with community groups to provide young people with accessible education and hands-on advertising experience.

Powered by our people

None of this external impact would be possible without our team. We work hard to nurture a supportive internal culture.
We operate a 20% profit share scheme, pay significantly above the local average and champion highly flexible workflows. By prioritising values-based hiring, including recruiting individuals who have transitioned from the care and NHS sectors, our team brings a unique emotional intelligence to the creative campaigns we deliver.
They live our values every single day, whether they are delivering high-level strategy for a campaign or getting stuck into practical conservation efforts like our recent seagrass restoration sessions.

Flying the flag for the Island

The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London this November in front of 1,200 business leaders. Highlighting the calibre of this year's finalists, Amanda Murphy, CEO of Lloyds Business and Commercial Banking, shared her thoughts on the shortlist:
"The Lloyds British Business Excellence Awards celebrates ambition, determination and innovation. NOSY is bringing new ideas, investing in its community and helping drive growth in the UK. They represent the very best of British enterprise and we're incredibly proud to back them."
Regardless of the outcome on the night, we are proud to be representing the Isle of Wight on a national stage. We want to say a sincere thank you to our team, our community and our purpose-driven clients who trust us to tell their stories.
