Based on the Isle of Wight, the Wildheart Animal Sanctuary is at the frontline of protecting endangered species.
Run by the Wildheart Trust, the sanctuary focuses on rescuing threatened wildlife and improving the well-being of animals in human care.
Their impact extends far beyond the sanctuary gates. As a registered charity, the Trust actively funds and provides support for conservation programmes in the wild, from protecting tigers in India to preserving rare native moths right here in the UK. With the growing threat to global biodiversity, their goal is to show how everyone can play a practical role in restoring the natural world.

Translating the reality of rescue work
Many purpose-driven organisations do incredible work but struggle to make their impact fully understood. Wildheart is no exception.
"At the heart of it all, we are a charity: something many people don’t always realise," explains Lorraine White, Head of Community, Events & Partnerships at Wildheart. "Believe it or not, the sanctuary costs nearly £2 million a year to run."
To secure the future of these animals, the public needs to understand the financial and operational reality of the sanctuary. Our role is to translate this vital work into clear communication that builds credibility and influences positive change.
"For the sanctuary to keep having an impact, people need to truly understand that mission," says Dan Carley, Commercial Director at NOSY. "Not just as a place to visit, but as a cause to support."

Telling stories that matter
Throughout the year, our team will be capturing the energy of major fundraising events such as the Wire Walk and Run Wild. These events are crucial for bringing the community together and raising the funds that keep the sanctuary alive.
But we are also focusing on producing films of the animals and the people who care for them, showing exactly why that support matters. And by capturing these powerful stories, we aim to share Wildheart's reality, helping them secure the engagement and donations they need to thrive.
"We have built an incredible legacy with so many stories to tell about our amazing animals and the people who care for them," adds Lawrence Bates, CEO at Wildheart. "That is why we are proud to have NOSY as our media partner for this milestone year. Those films will allow us to share our story with a much wider audience."

"Here is to 50 years of Wildheart and the stories we are about to share together," concludes Lawrence. "Because every visit, every share and every donation helps us continue this mission."
