One of Gary Hall's key priorities when he joined Cowes Harbour Commission as CEO was to ensure its work was effectively communicated.Cowes Harbour Commission as CEO was to ensure its work was effectively communicated.
Historically, the AGM would be the annual event to review the year's activities but in changing times and a decline in attendees, something new was needed.
NOSY was recommended to Gary and after some conversations with our team, a highlights film summarising the year was produced, combining stories with key facts and figures.
The film had over 1,000 views, significantly boosting engagement and giving the harbour commission a platform to reach more people.
Its success led to a second annual film and for Gary, the switch has paid off significantly.
"We had to find different ways to portray ourselves and our work," said Gary.
"Working with other Island businesses is really important to us, so teaming up with NOSY was a great fit.
"The first video gave us engagement with key stakeholders in Cowes that was much greater than it would have been at a physical meeting, so it was definitely the right move.
"We've enjoyed working with the whole NOSY team.
"Their approach is very laid back, very professional and very accommodating in getting the video messaging across correctly."
